Programme Notes / Performance Details :

This individualist gets in the way, disturbs the peace, and in doing so, disturbs the piece: Following his own thoughts, he continues on in 2/4 time while the piece is actually in three. It is the stubborness, however, which creates the unmistakable character of this short duo. A sure-fire audience pleaser in the form of a lighthearted, spirited romp that will leave listeners wanting more.

2 mallets, player one / 4 mallets, player two. The full version of this recording is released on one of the German Marimba Duos CDs entitled Kaleidoscope which can be purchased at www.codamusic.de
