Jan Bradley is a freelance percussionist based in Manchester.  As well as being a Member of 4-MALITY, he plays for many orchestras including the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, CBSO, Northern Sinfonia, Opera North and the Halle.  He is also a composer and arranger, primarily for percussion but has also written a piece for trumpet and percussion, and a percussion concerto with symphony orchestra.

Two sets of tom-toms form an uneasy alliance when confronted by two small bits of wood. The two sides carefully sound each other out in an attempt to find some common ground. After a heated discussion all forces agree to unite against their common enemy: the pretentious program note.
