This book is on the advanced college playing level. it contains solos which train the players` ears as well as hands. Each sol has a solfege line to prepare the player for tuning changes. There is also some graphic notation as well as unbarred metered solos. These solos would work well as etudes for the college level student. I like this book. Not available for annotation; a quote from the -advertising material reads: "Advanced solo-etudes for the contemporary performer, covering difficult pitch, rhythm, and technical problems."
