Great piece to learn how to get around on the drums without a lot of muffling to do. The thing to worry about in this piece is the changing pitches in the drum while still playing. At 108 bpm, its a nice tempo to practice it slower and execute the changes with the dynamic markings in the piece. Be aware of the accents in the first half of the piece, and getting down your p and pp strokes during the second half of the piece.

Varying degrees of the staccato stroke throughout. Emphasis on moving around on four drums.
