This piece would be a great recital for 3 advanced high school players, or first or second year collegiate percussionist concert. The instrumentation for this piece is not hard, very basic percussion equipment any high school or college percussion studio should have. Parts are pretty much equal in difficulty, and some drastic dynamic changes so make sure you learn dynamics while learning the piece. I think the last 40 measures are the highlight of the piece, even though its the ending, but almost every measure switches time signatures back and forth from triple to duple, duple to triple, so make sure your counting is very well for the big ending.

Score parts. Recital material. Looks like Colgrass pieces. Equal difficulty between parts. Have a fair keyboard player. Overall good piece.
