In this contemporary piece, the composer uses spatial and graphic notation and gives detailed instructions in German and English as to the production of specified sounds. The piece is very coloristic using a wide range of timbres including playing with fingers and fingernails. It also exploits a wide range of dynamics with extensive of pppp sections. Some interesting features include a section entitled "Clash Music," which can be performed as a crash cymbal solo, and a poem (in German) recited by the players at the end of the piece. This piece would be appropriate for a graduate ensemble. The instrumentation is too extensive to list.
