The maturity level of the piece lies in its instrumentation and many instrument and mallet changes. While almost every new entrance involves a mallet or instrument change, the actual technical demands of the piece are not that great. The composition is very linear with several nice timbres and textural effects throughout. This piece is playable by mature junior high or high school ensemble.
