This is a contemporary sounding piece in fugal style with many polyrhythms over the barline. It travels from metals, to wood, to Latin sounds, and back to metals with nice changes of timbre and use of interesting sounds. Much of the piece has polyrhythms underneath while the flexatone wavers above. The flexatone begins and ends the piece. There are some tough groups of five across the bar line. This piece is brilliantly composed. The entire piece executes a palindrome.
