This piece is the last in a set of 4 pieces entitled "Rhythmus." It is fairly advanced and contains hocketed as well as unison 32nd notes and sextuplets. This piece is technically challenging and looks like a Delecluse snare drum etude split up between several players. This is a good undergraduate or even graduate level piece. Calls for 4 percussion instruments with indeterminate and freely chosen sounds.
