Piece is in three sections: Adagio-Congo, Solo, and Moto Perpetuo e Cadenza. Each player (except the set player) has a large battery. Much of the piece involves creating different moods and textures through the use of different instruments and rhythms on the various instruments of the battery. While the piece is college level, there are no killer parts, and all mallet parts are for two mallets. The piece is written generally in 4/4, but the rhythms are layered and accented to....
