A unique "sound textures" piece. This challenging work, scored for eight multi-percussionists, requires a large array of percussion instruments. the piece at times moves back and forth from thick textures of sound to areas that are very sparse and the composer has made use of a variety of instruments in unique fashion; striking a musical saw with mallet, bowing vibraphone, playing kalimba and kitchen bowls on the timpani head, and playing a melody on metal frying pans.
