26 February 2009 05:59:00 AM A narrative in 10 short scenes. Easy parts. Some 3 and 4 mallet playing. Vibe parts written like woodwinds- only slurs, no pedals. Calls for metal mallets on xylophone. I think not. Koesel: Lyrical, "day in the life" type piece. Percussion is not too significant. Lots of harpsichord. Standard notation. Titles of movements are tongue in cheek. |
