This is a very simple but strange piece. The flute part is very simple and almost Bach-like in it`s composition. The percussion part (notated as "Percussion non obligee") is an unspecified instrument and is left up to the choice of the performer. It seems that a tenor drum, snare drum or tambourine may fit the part.
