Programme Notes / Performance Details :The Drum-Solo "Mister X" should the young drummer make close with Latin-Rhythmics. It moves in the tension field between "easy" and "medium", so that it is well feasible for a slightly advanced pupil.
The piece has a clear structured composition (4-bar patterns) which demands too much of a beginner not equally optically. The basic rhythm stretches like a red thread through the piece, different variations refresh the basic structure well, so that boredom never orginates.
The rhythmics is held relatively easy to be able to be started in this simplicity also, e.g., in an ensemble. Besides, the continous basic rhythm is interrupted by 1-bar breaks over and over again what makes the piece, in addition, interesting!
