Programme Notes / Performance Details :West African style polyrhythmic piece for percussion ensemble divided into 3 sections. Great entry level piece for learning ensemble interlocking with a West African style chant. An excellent piece to start or end a concert with the ensemble walking on or off stage while performing. Duration: 5 minutes. Level: Beginner-Intermediate. "Ghanaba Celebration" can be performed with a direct segue the piece - "Sankofa."
