Composer / Arranger Details: Nick is a percussionist, drummer, guitarist and teacher based in Cardiff. Recent work includes the UK and Germany tour of Evita, freelance work with the WNO and BBC NOW, and drumming on QDOS pantomimes. His own projects include a marimba duo, the salsa group Fiesta Resistànce, drumming in a jazz quintet and a big band, and playing guitar in a trad jazz duo.

Programme Notes / Performance Details :Anitra`s Dance is the third of four pieces in Grieg`s Peer Gynt Suite No. 1. This new arrangement by Nick Baron is for four marimbas and optional triangle. It is possible for two players to share one marimba, and only two players require 4-mallet technique.
