| Composer / Arranger Details: Robert Steadman is a prolific composer of music ranging from symphonies and operas to musicals and pieces for brass band. He has written a great deal for amateurs and children. Robert has been commssioned to compose works for the percussionist Evelyn Glennie, saxophonist Sarah Field, London Brass Virtuosi and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. His opera Sredni Vashtar was written to a libretto by Richard Adams. He has also written radio jingles and a song used on Chris Evans Radio One Show. As well as composing, Robert has written many articles on music education and a number of books alongside teaching and leading creative music workshops for schools, museums and charities. | |||||||||||||||

| Programme Notes / Performance Details :A duet for multi-percussion. Each player has their own pair of bongos, a snare drum and a glockenspiel. The 2 performers face each other and must be in reach of each other so that the stick hitting can be done! All the rhythms derive from the Morse code of the 2 performers for whom it was written.
