Composer / Arranger Details: Ian Briskey is an active composer, arranger, and educator from Bargersville, Indiana. Some of his former and current teachers include Dr. James Finnie, Brian Blume, Chris Hodgson, Jason Hammond-Wood, Ralph Hardimon, Kevin Welborn, Derek Fields, and David Reeves. A graduate of Center Grove High School, Ian had the privilege of being educated by Josh Torres. During this time, he also spent one season at Evolution Indoor Percussion from Lindenhurst, IL, two seasons with the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps from Casper, WY, and was a member of the Indianapolis Colts drumline in 2012. As an educator, Ian has worked with numerous high schools in the Indianapolis area including 2013 IPA Open Class gold medalist Decatur Central High School and served as the director of percussion at Zionsville High School, a 2013 IPA A-Class bronze medalist.
