Composer / Arranger Details: Gabriel Staznik is a freelance performer, educator, and arranger residing in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania area. He performs regularly at the prestigious American Music Theatre (Lancaster, PA), and is currently performing on stage in American Music Theatre s Original Productions. Gabriel is on the music faculty at Lancaster Bible College, Director of Percussion at Avon Grove High School, Music Director and the Arranger for Windish Music and Productions and is the Director of the Total Percussion Seminar music camps. Gabriel has performed and recorded with Grammy, Emmy, and Tony award-winning artists and has perfomed locally with the PRiMA Theatre Co., the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, the Lancaster British Brass Band, the Herm Miller Big Band Orchestra, and has performed in over a dozen American Music Theatre Original Productions. He has performed on-stage with Kristen Chenoweth (Broadway/Film), James Wolpert and Cole Vosbury (from NBC s The Voice), for Hershey Entertainment and Resorts, Allan Albert Productions Internationally Award-Winning (IAAPA) production of Trash Time, and for SRO Associate s production of Lightning Strike. Outside of American Music Theatre you can find Gabe performing locally with Steely Jam, the Andy Mowatt Trio, the Alley Kat house band, and with other area orchestras, jazz ensembles, and theater companies. As an arranger/composer you can hear his works having been performed by Junk Rock at Canobie Lake Park (Salem, NH) and Quassy Amusement Park (Middlebury, CT), the IAAPA Award-Winning Cocoa Rhythm Factory at Hershey Park (Hershey, PA), and by percussion ensembles and school programs at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. His works have been published by HoneyRock Publishing. Gabriel has recently released his holiday CD, The Nutcracker Suite: A Percussion Performance and has recorded for NFL Films, Def Jam Recordsí Platinum and Grammy artist LL Cool J, Sound Design Music Studios, Northeastern Music Publications, Sports Music Emmy Awarded Hedden Music, and for American Music Theatre s Cast Album Recordings. Gabriel holds a Bachelor s degree in Music Education with a focus in percussion from West Chester University. He is a member of the Percussive Arts Society, National Association of Rudimental Drummers, and endorses Vic Firth Sticks & Mallets, Remo Drumheads, and Beato Bags.
