Medium difficult four mallet solo. Two movements. Tonal witha folk quality. Melodic left hand ostinato and parallel right hand octaves would be tricky for a intermediate player. Good sight reading piece. Nice tune, and easier than the Gordon Sout "Mexican Dances." Great for a beginning to intermediate four mallet marimbist. This composition has a groove oriented feel that is built on ostinatos between the two hands.
