Very difficult four mallet solo with full orchestra. Excerpts have been recorded by Kieko Abe. Make "Time" look like a warmup piece. Some beautiful writing for the marimba and the orchestra -- very colorful, whicih is why a piano reduction wouldn`t suffice -- you would need to include some percussionists or electronics to have it make any sense at all. If there is a way to use in an audition, it would be a great competition piece.
